Hi, folks. I said that the next time I post we'd be in the US, and guess what? We're in the US! We touched down in Washington DC at 3:32 PM and were in line at Customs by 3:48. It took us 1 hour and 15 minutes to get through customs and security, and then another 15 minutes to get to our gate. Which means we missed our 5:15 flight. That's the bad news. The good news is, our 5:15 flight was delayed an hour. So actually we didn't miss it at all. God is good!
We should be back in Philadelphia by 7:30 PM or so, barring any other delays. Right now I'm watching everyone's bags so they can go to Five Guys and get something to eat. We haven't eaten since 7:00 this morning so everyone is STARVED!
And just as I was writing that, Erin came back with food for both of us. God is good!
